A Message

I'm so tired of everyone(me included) being stressed out and down in the dumps lately! Even though there's a LOT going on in all of our lives, we still need to try our best to stay encouraged and remember that we all have a greater goal; To help others and to serve God as best we can.

How about we all leave a comment with a Bible verse that we feel can help us out some? I'll start right after I post this. Let's get upbeat again, ok? =]

    1. Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.

    2. Many are they who say of me, "There is no help for him in God."

    3. But You, O Lord, are a shield for me. My glory and the One who lifts my head.

    PSALM 2:1-8 (it's such a great thing! Especially if you think of the people in the chapter being instead troubles in life. made me feel a little better, at least.)

    The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. -Psalm 9:9-10

    Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour. Resist him, steadfast in your faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:7-10
